Is in the Plaza de la Magdalena. It is the famous source of the legends of the Lizard of Jaen. It is the oldest church, of the late Gothic or Isabelline Gothic, was built at the beginning of the 16th century on an old mosque of the city.

The origin of this church is in a mosque of great antiquity established in the eighth century by Abderramán II, of which the 4 naves and the courtyard are still preserved. It maintains some horseshoe arches and others of half point.
